Bentonite cord

Bentizol produces bentonite cords accordingly to TU 5772-002-87299967-2015 “Waterproofing material Bentizol. Technical specifications” standard.

Features

Bentonite cord is a flexible waterproofing material in the shape of cord with rectangular or circular section. Due to the presence of butyl rubber in its composition, the product is highly adhesive to concrete, metal or plastic.

Whilst hydrated, the cord’s volume expands up to 200%, procuring the encapsulation of the concrete joints, holes, and other sealing areas. Such isolation can sustain force impacts that could cause disjunction or joint exposure at a considerable width.
