Bentonite granules BentIzol

Bentizol manufactures and ships bentonite granules, produced from the raw materials extracted at the company’s own deposits in Kurgan, Khakassia and Azerbaijan.

Granular bentonite is free-flowing fine material with high dispersion ability and hydrophilic property; it demonstrates strong colloidal and emulsifying properties, perfect water absorption characteristics, along with other valuable features. Bentonite granules are environmentally friendly product. Due to their natural origin, the product retains its qualities over time.

Application

Granular bentonite &is a supporting material. It is used as a filler for the production of rolled waterproofing materials such as - Geosynthetic Clay Liners (GCLs) Bentizol and MASTERBENT.

Bentonite granules are poured into overlapping layers while installing GCLs. They are also used for access holes areas preparation and at the areas of horizontal layer transition to vertical.
The bentonite paste (granules are dissolved in water at the proportion of 1:3.5) is used for GCLs Installation on vertical surfaces where it is applied to the overlapping areas.
Granules dispersed in water to ‘milk’ consistency or bentonite paste are used to seal fractures and surface irregularities while surface preparation.
